Sports Media Lab

Sports Media Lab was a personal research and experimentation initiative exploring how digital media, storytelling, and fan-first content strategies can strengthen the visibility and engagement of grassroots and regional football across South Asia. The project focused on identifying underrepresented football narratives and testing innovative ways to connect fans with local players, clubs, and competitions through modern media formats.

 

Through Sports Media Lab, I experimented with short-form video storytelling, interactive social content, and creator-led engagement concepts designed to increase fan loyalty and discoverability for emerging football ecosystems. The initiative also explored how sponsorship models, influencer collaborations, and digital community mechanics could be used to elevate grassroots football into compelling, marketable sports properties. Functioning as both a research platform and creative sandbox, Sports Media Lab helped shape my broader thinking around sports media innovation, fan engagement, and commercialization strategies that later informed projects like Tigers League.
